Peter Lavskiy is an iOS engineer and the maker of Scriptmate, the line learner and self-tape app for actors. Peter designs and builds the app and writes every guide on this site.
The guides exist because the same questions kept coming up while building the app: how to learn lines when there is nobody to run them with, how to set up a self-tape that keeps the reader out of the microphone, and which rehearsal apps actually wait for your cue. Where a guide mentions Scriptmate, that is the app Peter makes, and the comparison guide says so up front.
